Cruz Club is a 12-month program designed to help equip would-be cruisers who are inspired to set off exploring the world by sea, but don’t yet have the skills, experience, or boat to do it on. It allows you to get prepared, do it right, and avoid making costly mistakes along the way.
We provide practical training, regular private access to production Seawind and Aquila catamarans, and ongoing coaching and support to prepare you for cruising on your own vessel. Memberships are strictly limited to ensure members get plenty of time onboard.

Confirm Licences & Training
Confirm the requirements for your chosen vessel. Seawind members need a NSW General Boating Licence and the five-day live-aboard RYA Day Skipper course. Aquila members need RYA Powerboat 2 or an accepted equivalent.

What is the Cruz Club Membership Program?+
The Cruz Club is a 12-month membership program designed for aspiring boat owners and cruisers to gain hands-on sailing experience, regular catamaran access, and ongoing coaching without the upfront capital and maintenance burdens of boat ownership.
How much private boat access do members receive?+
Cruz Club includes 3 days and 2 nights a month of private access to our club catamarans, allowing you to take family and friends out for live-aboard cruising backed by qualified charter support.
What upfront fees and joining costs apply?+
There is a compulsory $500 induction fee plus a security bond held for the duration of membership. Annual membership fees are $22,200 p.a. for Seawind 1260 (1/6 syndicate), $29,900 p.a. for Seawind 1370 (1/6 introductory offer), and $36,000 p.a. for Aquila 44 (1/8 syndicate). Linen and food are excluded.
What licensing and training prerequisites are required?+
For Seawind sailing catamarans, members must hold a NSW General Boating Licence and complete a 5-day live-aboard RYA Day Skipper course. For the Aquila 44 power catamaran, an RYA Powerboat 2 licence or equivalent is required.
Are ongoing maintenance, insurance, and marina berthing included?+
Yes. All marina berthing fees, vessel insurance, regular servicing, and annual haul-out costs are 100% included in your Cruz Club membership fee.
